CEREC system

CEREC system for immediate dentures

The CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) method is a CAD/CAM system that allows our dentists to fabricate and fit dentures in a single session.

The system includes a digital impression and a CAD/CAM milling machine for crowns, inlays, veneers and onlays.

Dentures within one hour

HD-Dental uses a CEREC milling machine with a digital Sirona 3 scanner. The combination of these two units allows the dentist to scan an image of the ground tooth, which only takes about five minutes.

The system has a database that first designs the best shape for the desired crown, inlay, veneer or onlay. Afterwards, the dentist can make modificiations individually and according to the patient. This process takes only about ten minutes.

Then a ceramic block is inserted into the CEREC machine and the approximately 15-minute milling process begins. The different shades in which the ceramic block is offered, allow a natural, individually to the patient’s tooth adapted color.

When the milling process is completed, the dentures are inserted directly.

The entire treatment process takes only about one hour per tooth. Usually the fabrication of dentures take a week including lab work and two sessions. But with the CEREC method it can be done in just one treatment in one day.
